The Projection of Our Reflection

broken-mirror-drawing-i3

A reflection
reflects a projection
enhancing our imperfection.

After our inspection,
we make a selection
and begin our dissection
choosing what will receive our ejection.

We’re incapable of affection
when looking at this reflection
because it’s too often been subject to rejection.

It’s the reason for the injection
correction,
and the focus on our complexion.

I have an objection
to the world’s interest in defection.

We can begin detection
of perfection
in our reflection
when we stop the collection
of imperfection
and see the projection
in a different complexion.
