An anonymous commenter gave me the words oblivion, life, hope, and reason for my interactive poetry. Here’s what I came up with!
When two hearts
are torn apart,
they fade into oblivion.
They slowly grow aware
that the life they shared
will never exist again.
An emptiness envelopes
what was once beating-
turning the blood to ash.
They hope for the day
that they find a way
to be whole once more.
That the ash will dissolve
and their troubles will be solved
with a new love in store.
With hope comes reason
and with reason comes life
that can save them from oblivion.
It can give them a chance
to give their hearts balance
and find the beat once again.
Give me some words too

It is by reason of oblivion that hope hath left
A life’s shadow is all of a hope for reason
When oblivion is overcast in a poets mind

That’s very true. Where hope can lead to reason and reason to life, it can also work the other way around. Life can make you feel as if you have no reason and that lack of reasoning can diminish your hope, which in turn can lead to the feeling that you have fallen straight into oblivion. It all depends on your perspective.

PS: There’s a nice twist of hope in that one, not style but someone needs to write positive!
Good little number

What do you mean by not style?
And thank you!

Should be “not my style…..”, auto correct at it ‘has’ again
As highlighted by the fact it inserted ‘has’ for no reason!

Haha, I literally never write positively. I only have like 2 or 3 on here that have a positive vibe to them, but they’re still usually pretty dark most of the way through with like a little hint at the end.
And lol, I feel you’re pain. I have the hardest time with auto correct!
