1,000? What? This really is a huge, huge deal to me. I cannot believe that anyone would take time out of their day to read a word of mine, nonetheless, over 1,000 people reading my poetry. This is crazy. You all are crazy. I’m crazy.

        1. About 7-8 months, maybe? I’m really not sure if I’m growing quickly, normally, or slowly lol. I don’t know how fast bloggers generally gain followers.
          I just try to reply to all my comments and make sure to interact with others on their blogs. I don’t post regularly, just when I have the time. But I know having a set schedule helps gain readers because they know when to expect your posts.
          I think I may have posted one self-promotional comment, but it was when I didn’t have a clue what I was doing. I don’t do that at all anymore. I think genuine comments and interactions help you gain followers more than “hey, check out my blog.” It helps you gain followers who actually read your posts that is.

          1. Thanks for that. Well I think 1000 followers in 8 months or so is awesome! I have 153 and I work really hard to get more followers. What ever you are doing, keep doing it!! 🙂 xx

          2. It seemed like it took me forever to reach 100, then I gained them pretty fast until about 600, then it took a long time to keep building it.
            How long have you had your blog?

          3. About 5 months I think…I have been posting a lot as you can see… I think I have posted over 70 articles now. I will keep plugging away, I love sharing my writing and its nice to help other people and offer inspiration. I just love to write and photograph.

          4. Yeah, it can take awhile to find your group of people on here. And I wouldn’t worry about followers as long as you love what you’re doing.
            You’ve got a lot of likes on your Facebook page though! I can’t seem to figure out how to get followers on there lol.

          5. Thanks! Yeah I love writing and posting articles and sharing my story and my life with others. I love hearing from my readers that I have impacted their lives in such a positive way. It really motivates me to keep writing and keep sharing. It is cathartic for me, I love it and hopefully it brings joy to others too. Win win!! xx
