She said her world
was made of paper–
that it was carelessly ripped
and torn out of the book
she once held so dearly.
Now, this piece of paper,
etched with years
of milestones
and meaningless moments,
is crumpled up
and has been tossed away
without a followed thought.
She said her world
was made of paper–
that each memory
left a permanent scar
on something entirely
disposable.
love this poem!! It’s so crazy, that one piece of paper, can be so powerful! 🙂

I’m just trying to see if people could see them on the tags

Okay, but so I can see if they are showing up, what tags are they under and what are the titles?

Poetry & fiction and my most latest post is called simple

I’m not seeing it. Did you tag it as that or categorize it?

I don’t think I did… I don’t really know how to use this

There’s two different places. Tags are for others to find it through, it’s what shows up on the reader and categories are for organization on on your blog itself.

So if I want just for readers to read my posts I put “poetry and fiction” on the tag?

Yep and you want to make sure that the time is current or that it says “immediately” if you are posting from an app

I’m trying to edit my post so it could pop up on the reader thing but it won’t let me type anything 😕

It says “comma separated” but it doesn’t let me delete it and tag it

You took out the most mundane thing and turned into something so meaningful. Amazing!

Sometimes the most mundane things hold the most meaning, we just don’t realize it 🙂 thank you!

Memory may well not depend on the paper….Memories are indelible….. 🙄

Exactly. There will always be wrinkles to remind you of the damage.

Milestones are never meaningless, and memories never entirely disposable. Is there a particular memory this poem recalls to mind?

I really like this poem. I am intrigued by memory and how it behaves or misbehaves …
